    Cinderella // The Plague Any movie or pop-cultured medium that references Disney movies in a satirical tone of voice makes fun or light of the singing Disney princess that converses with birds and small rodents. Cinderella in particular, goes so far as to make clothes for her bucked toothed, rat tailed friends. With such close contact with mice which aren’t domesticated, clearly your leaving yourself open to diseases such as the plague? In this fairytale anyway…

    Belle // Beast Attack Having a beasty boyfriend has it’s downfalls. Enraged and tormented by his curse the beast falls into a domestic with Belle resulting in some visible signs from the assault.

    Ariel // Human Experiment At the end of the Little Mermaid we see Triton willingly turning Ariel from a mermaid to a human. In his old age however, the transformation didn’t go quite right rendering Ariel into a half-fish/half –human hybrid. Her skin is composited of both human flesh and fish scales. She is subjected to experimentation.

    Part of my Happily Never After series... Sleeping Beauty // Insomnia Having been lifted of the curse whereby upon a pinprick the princess falls into a deep sleep. Aurora finds it increasingly difficult to sleep. The curse lifted seems to have the opposite effect where she cannot sleep at all, suffering from a serious bout of insomnia, Briar Rose becomes addicted to sleeping pills.     Snow White // Aids Snow white lives for a period of time with seven men. Not many women that I know of currently live with seven men without their being some sort of fornication afoot. Sexual intercourse with that many men is surely leaving one susceptible to sexually transmitted diseases. In this case Snow White has contracted Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome. A prolific disease which attacks the immune system and can be contracted through unprotected sexual intercourse.     Jasmine // Bashings After being forcefully betrothed to the infamous Jafar, Jasmine finds herself protesting for womens rights and against arranged marriages. She is brutally beaten for speaking her mind.
